Matthew the Apostle , also known as St. Matthew and Levi. According to the New Testament he was one of the 12 apostles of Jesus. According to Christian traditions, he was also one of the four evangelical litigants and is also called Matthew Evangelist. 

        Matthew or Saint Matthew was one of Jesus' apostles. Those we call Saint Matthew or Levi.

        He was the first apostle to preach the life of Jesus and write the life story of Jesus as the Holy Bible .

        He wrote his writings with the leadership of the Son Spirit, which were recorded in the New Testament by Bible reformers.   

Birth

Saint Matthew was born in Capernaum, Nazareth , Israel in the first century AD .

Death

Saint Matthew died in the first century AD
The remains occurred in Salerno, Italy, near Hierapolis or Ethiopia .

Main work


The New Testament states that as a disciple, they followed Jesus, God wrote a very wonderful gospel through him and witnessed Jesus' ascension. Later church fathers such as Irenes and Clement of Alexandria claim that Matthew preached the gospel to the Jewish community in Judea before moving to other countries.

According to the New Testament, according to Matthew 9: 9 and Methi 10: 3, Matthew was a tax collector who was called from Cafnum to cradle Jesus. 

      If he spoke in simple language, he was about to collect a tax. When Jesus called him, he was still doing it.

         Jesus called them to follow him. After calling them, Saint Matthew invited Jesus to his home for a meal. Seeing them gathering food, many of the Pharisees and Sadducees standing there criticized Jesus.

         Then Jesus, criticizing them, answered them that I call not the righteous but those who repent.

Early life

Matthew was born in Israel in the first century according to the New Testament. The Gospel written by Saint Matthew is recorded first in the second part of the Bible, ie in the New Testament.

       Saint Matthew by his writings Hebrew and Aramaik wrote in language. Which were later translated into Greek and Yiddish languages.

Worship of Matthew

Saint Matthew is a saint in Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox places.

        The festival of Saint Matthew is celebrated on 21 September in the west and 16 November in the east.

        Saint Matthew is the first apostle who first wrote the life of Jesus in writing. His name Matthew or Matti means the gift of God.

Death and causes

Saint Matthew was killed, according to tradition, by the kingship of the king of Ethiopia. His death occurred around the first century
 Took place in Ethiopia, Italy.

Important consideration

St. Matthew has written in his gospel ( Matthew 6:33 ) - that you look at the kingdom and righteousness of God. And that has been given to all of us.

     And now we too need to make up our minds like St. Matthew 's. And there is a need to search for the kingdom of God and God himself.
